immersion assembly

Today was the first day of school we had immersion assembly. The principal talked about his hats that he bought from traveling.then mr jacobson talked about his whanau history.mr somerville said that his family was nights in shining armor i don’t know if he was for real.then team 1 made a video about how other kids around the world get to school.team 2 were acting like dora the explora.team 3 they did there about the amazing race.

Team 4 talked about food from different places.team 5 did a play about a myth and a Legend called Sina and the eel.

Game 1:we had to play against a hard team first.
we played ki-o-rahi and it was lots of fun and
me and lorenzo
were blocking the tupu me and my class and room 5.
We were playing ki o

rahi and we versed room 5 and we played shooters or
defenders

and whoever gets it then we played and we

saw who can win and

We lost the first game.

Game 2:After we went to play on

the other court and played again.

First we got one person on each team

to do rock paper scissors and we won so

we chose which team and we chose Taniwha

The other team was very good so we switched.

we won the game and we went back to class to
write what I am now.

Mr Burt

principal got the new zealand order of merit.our principal’s name is Mr Russell George burt .he is a very special person to me and my family.my auntys and uncles even my grandpa worked here as the caretaker for the school.he has helped me through some hard times.he has cared for this hole school we all know he loves us and care for us.we sang a song for him we sang Ufiufi and ka waiata and also did the school Haka.

Begin Writing Here: hi my name is caesar i’m the whale you see in
this
picture. That humangise volcano is Jonathan is my best friend.
He lived here and he was a healthy volcano, until we left. As we
were leaving he erupted and he cried out help because the lava
was running down his face. he was burning we couldn't  go
another wise we will die from the heat. We left and he bursted
and became angry. We left as fast as we could before the lava
could catch us and we never returned.i imagined him being lonely
so I went back by myself and I saw him. He was lonely, he was
burnt and a lot more smaller he was broken into pieces.I went
back and never returned back.but until another

volcano that was a girl made him happy.she came from under

water when she was erupting she came and made him so so

happy and they were friends forever.

Hi my name is Antzel and today i am going to be telling you about my morning.So this morning i woke up at 6:00 o'clock it was very cold but at 7:00 o’clock i had a shower.When i finished and got changed my cousin Jacob came with his dad came we walked to school i thought i was late to school but i got here just in time. Today is the next day I had to do the Mihi in front of the whole block like we have over 60 kids in the senior block. It was scary but I did it one of the girls named Toni did the Karakia.I felt good after I did It I brightened some lip balm because my lips were dry.
